ABSTRACT
The purposes of this study were 1) to study the behaviors of using English applications in learning English language of Buriram Rajabhat University students, 2) to study the motivations of using English applications in learning English language of Buriram Rajabhat University students, and 3)tocompare the motivations of using English applications in learning English language of Buriram Rajabhat University students, classified by faculty. The samples were 373 Buriram Rajabhat University students at the first semester of academic year 2018.They were selected by using the table of Krejcie and Morgan,stratified random sampling, and simple random sampling, respectively.The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and one-way ANOVA. The findings can be summarized as follows:
1. The behaviors of using English applications in learning English language of Buriram Rajabhat University students were that the students mostly use applications in learning English language is YouTube at home or dormitory.They spent time mostly on learning English through applications about 1-2 hours. In addition, they learnt English language through applications in order to improve listening skill the most.
2. The motivations of using English applications in learning English language of Buriram Rajabhat University students in overall was at a much level. When considering in each aspect, the instrumental motivation was at the highest level while the integrative motivation was at a much level.
3. There were statistically significant differences at 0.01 level both in overall and each aspect of motivations of using English applications in learning English language of Buriram Rajabhat University students, classified by faculty.
